We’re looking for a talented Junior Visual Designer to inspire us and our clients, with the ambition to develop professionally as a digital product designer. Initially, you will create compelling sales and presentation decks, marketing materials and support internal projects, such as employer branding. You will work closely with our business development and leadership team to help promote our brand in the market.

To succeed, you need to be detail focused in everything you do, contribute with creative design solutions, and maintain a high standard of design quality with your work. You will be able to work on concurrent projects and prioritise your workload effectively. In the long-term, ustwo provides mentorship and exposure to product design teams and cutting-edge product design processes.

This position is casual, part time (3 days/week). Applicants must have working rights for Australia.

  • Be an integral part of a highly skilled design team and global ustwo community where we share & learn together.
  • Support business development efforts by designing presentation decks (keynote, google slides) that uphold a high design standard and are consistent with the ustwo brand or the applicable client branding guidelines.
  • Creatively support internal projects and multidisciplinary teams with visual design.
  • Collaborate with the business development, marketing and leadership teams on sales, marketing, and events materials.
  • Interpret brief drafts and craft meaningful visual dialogue
  • Drive internal design process improvements and file management to make resources and assets accessible globally.
  • Collaborate with project teams working from the studio to participate in current client projects

  • Hone communication skills across mediums and tools (Verbal, Text, Visual, Motion).
  • Broaden your skill-set to include user interface design, user experience design, prototyping, and motion design.
  • Skill-up in product design processes and team collaboration.
  • Increase exposure to client facing moments, i.e pitches, meet and greets, business development initiatives, etc.
  • Future assignment to product teams on billable, client work.


  • Strong visual communicator and proficient with contemporary design tools, i.e Adobe CC Suite, Sketch etc.
  • Strong proficiency in Keynote and Google Slides, presentation structure, formatting and visual consistency.
  • The ability to communicate through motion design, its relevant contexts and purpose
  • Ability to interpret text and information into considered and clear visual artefacts and presentations.
  • Highly collaborative team player and transparent communicator.
  • Seek and provide feedback with colleagues across projects.
  • Consider problems both holistically and in detail and understand when to shift focus between the two.
  • Can work autonomously, prioritise tasks, transition between tasks and projects, and meet deadlines.
  • Resilience and the ability to do re-current tasks.
  • Eager to take on new challenges and learn new skills with enthusiasm.
  • Ready to have fun and make new friends.
