Visual Designer


Working across a collaborative and multidisciplinary team you will be critical in how we produce, create and design digital experiences that make a difference in the world. The role is to inspire clients and collaborate with colleagues, mentoring individuals to achieve our high standards and produce amazing and respected work.

Requirements

PEOPLE

You will work across a multidisciplinary team designing and creating digital experiences that make a difference in the world. The role is to inspire clients and collaborate with colleagues, mentoring individuals to achieve high standards and produce amazing work. As a designer you’ll take personal responsibility for improving our ways of working to create value for clients. Bringing great ideas to the team you will be able to communicate these in ways which demonstrates continuous improvement.


As a designer you will give feedback on team and individual performance to improve your practice community, team and colleagues. Support a learning and knowledge sharing culture and facilitate insight and learning within our community of practice, in a fun but progressive way.


You’ll be required to balance project needs with community of practice and studio initiatives such as mentoring, recruitment and having a clear understanding of our people priorities.


PRACTICE

As a designer you will be comfortable working within an agile development process. Have a focus on understanding digital tools and trends that make an impact within the design practice. You will support and collaborate with colleagues in conducting research to evolve our client relationship and user experience.


You’re passionate about ensuring the work we undertake with clients consistently produces results. Promoting continuous improvement across the team you will share your knowledge in the discipline.


As a community of practice champion you will bring a brand of enthusiasm and energy to ustwo, and attend events. Seeking to define the value ustwo brings, as a studio in producing work that makes a difference.


PROJECTS

You will work on projects that look to your experience and understanding of usability and interaction design principles or techniques. You should be confident to develop key segments of design output for our clients.


This will involve supporting stakeholder engagement, ways of working, creating prototypes and user research approaches. Building on your use of Lean/Agile methodologies you will work with colleagues within a strong project team to ensure successful delivery.


You will be trusted to plan your time and both develop and define your inputs and outputs with support. The ability to learn, develop and contribute within a project team setting will ensure you bring value to our studio and clients.
