Freelance Product Designer London, ustwo
Freelance Product Designer
London, United Kingdom ustwo
We are looking for a product designer to come help us design a new connected car application for a major automotive client. The project is a challenging mix of production heavy design tasks along with opportunities to push the UX/UI of the application beyond what is considered ‘best in class’.
Our brief is to design and develop the application over multiple releases in the course of 2017, adhering to two brand guidelines and in multiple platforms (iOS and Android). It requires designers to work hand in hand with developers, product managers and client side Product Owners, so a certain amount of experience with agile working processes and a willingness to both dig into details and think strategically, will be needed.
The success of our project is heavily dependant on meeting the release parameters and the backlog of features. On the design front it is critical to nail the branding, UX flows & principles and visual design craft to create an experience that will delight users and exceed our client's expectations.
Internally, as ustwo, success would be to help the client visualise the future and to continue working with them beyond the present contract.
We would love to work with someone who thrives on collaboration, really likes crafting their work and putting loads of energy to make it look stunning. As product designers we would love to have someone with a blend of UX and UI skills - being equally comfortable coming up with principles of good interaction, iconography and good old pixel pushing.
Currently we are in the midst of our second release and are looking for someone to help us with the third and final release beginning mid september (19th to be exact). We would love to have you start a week or two in advance, so that on-boarding you into the project and processes will be easy.
